Comments on 3.1.0 and fault in Caribbean Sea Campaign
There are a few features on 3.1.0 I really like, at least one glaring omission that needs fixing and one soft lock due to a mapping error.
1) The option to reverse sort has been extended from just the main screen to all hero screens making choosing heroes at the lower end for rushing missions much much easier.... well sort of. It still suffers from heros blanking out on scrolling and
2) Caribbean Sea campaign is not just a rehash of Dead Man's Gold unlike the complete clone of Ravens Wound that Norwegian Campaign was - major kudos. Very enjoyable
3) The calendar is great to see and very helpful..... but this is where i get upset. The featured hero cubes are not shown, nor is the animus challenge rota. Now the Animus challenge rota is not as big a deal for me as I can look that up on Animus.Mobi. But not showing the forthcoming featured hero cubes and THEN saying you are not going to post up the upcoming rota for the month on discord or the forums as its visible in the calendar is a HUGE no no for me. I need that information to plan out my helix credit strategy. should I skip a helix rift event and save up the helix credits for the next round is highly dependant on which character is available on the featured hero cube. This needs fixing promptly as its a glaring omission from the calendar.
4) Soft lock on map 3 of Caribbean Sea. if you go over the top of map 3 there is a room with two pirate enemy and some scaffolding over the first enemy. If you make the mistake of jumping onto the scaffolding to avoid the first enemy and do not have either an assassination or Hide skill left, you are stuck. You MUST either hide behind the rock or assassinate the second enemy from behind the rock, there is no other escape from that scaffolding. If your hero has neither skill or has used up all those skills, they re stuck there. Simple solution is to restart the mission, a pain but not the end of the world as it only costs time.
