Choose weather and traffic options in all longer HC races.
How hard can it be? Easy fix.
(Weather) Why only in those? It should be an option in every race.
It's a yes from me
Yes from me as well.
I won't hold my breath, but that would be lovely.
If you want races with no traffic, you want track racing.
...nope, just no random factors on timeattacks.
No, you're missing the point, they like myself want the OPTION to choose weather conditions and light, heavy, or no traffic during races. Those who like it the way it is can simply leave it on, a win win you would think, but nooooooo theese clowns want to dictate how their game can be played, but they seem to have the creativity of a genius and the cognitive function of a 2 year old child.
For non-Summit related races, it should be an option. We're at the point in this game's "life" where race options AND EVEN A F****** RACE EDITOR should be a feature and an option.
For "modern" games, however, there's a growing trend of forcing gameplay options upon the player, which shows a correlation between players options and freedom in sandboxes games, and the correlation is a DECLINING one.
Exhibit A: GTA: Online
Exhibit B: Red Dead Redemption Multiplayer (not #2 or RDO)
Exhibit C: The Crew
Exhibit D: Forza Horizon 3
Exhibit E: all Ghost Games made online NFS titles (2015 a very good example)
What do all five have in common?
MMORPG design focused around restrictive game modes without the ability for players to edit individual options. Since when did restricting players become a trend? If you're going to make a "sandbox" MMO then give me the damn option to set up the sandbox how I'd like. Don't give me the sandbox and then tell me what type of San goes in it, the color of the pail and shovel and how big the sandbox is. It's my f****** sandbox so let ME decide what it's made of and what's in it!
GTA: IV
Saints Row series
F****** Minecraft and RoBlox (relax; I don't play it!)
Perfect examples of giving players more freedom and less restrictions. Either take notes or throw in the wastebasket. You will probably do the latter anyways...
