It's not due until the end of the year. No point in showing something that's still in early development.
BattleCat *cough cough* no time for Div 2 development :D
You know, it sucks, but it is what it is. There's a rumor about a new Division crossover game that wasn't mentioned in the Division Universe roadmap, but I don't really believe it.
I can only suggest that if you really want some new, concrete Division stuff, I highly encourage you to sign up for the Heartland test phases, if you haven't already.

Please no. Please don't.

It's great that we get informed beforehand so we don't get our hopes up. That's a huge improvement, even if the news is "no news".
I've read they're looking for a new Malmö based Community Developer, and I realy hope they find a very capable one very soon.
Content is 4-6 months off easily for Division 2 anyway. It's going to be awhile. As for Heartland, seems like that might get pushed off to next year seeing how they aren't even going to showcase it.
I am really hoping this latest rumor is false. The very last thing I want is them pushing even more PvP on the Division community. It's 99% a story based PvE game. Keep it that way and invest resources in that arena.
oof thats rough, kinda bad considering the timing of that roadmap showed later this year
I mean it had images posted that got taken down by ubisoft, why would they take something down if it was just a fake? seeing the direction ubisfot is going with their new game, they are clearly shooting at all sides to see if they get a jackpot
I'm still amazed they don't have gameplay, a trailer, or release date for any of this. And they called this franchise a "tent-pole" for Massive entertainment.
Seriously? They literally just started work on it with a new team a couple of months ago. It's like nobody has learned from what happened with Cyberpunk 2077's hype and release date promises.
Having said that, it shouldn't take too much imagination to realize they're aiming for sometime in December. That's when the season re-runs finish and aligns with the "end of the year" timeframe.
Will there be another ubi-forward in the fall? Maybe we'll see stuff then
Ubisoft live off Hype.. end off.. Hyperscape didn't get them the jackpot so "Oh right then lets try the same again this time with DIVISON in the title.
Ubisoft is trying for the "EPIC" jackpot with the division name.
I am not looking forward to Heartlands... Ubisoft and the scumbag microtransactions. Will prolly cost you 60quid to press the enter world button
Speaking of Heartland and the test... Even EA is getting better... The new Battlefield test will be done with "Battlefield veterans"...
Yeah, I think they found him.

Define Veterans of the Battlefield series, because judging by EA/Dice's past that meant popular Youtubers that hadn't played half the Battlefield games non Tubers had played.
To be honest Veterans are those who've been with a Franchise since Day 1, the day of it's inception, not someone who's played the last one 3000+ hours, but hey The Developers and Publishers have to get maximum Advertising and maximum coverage of their new games (and that means going to Tubers/Twitchers no matter how long they've played) thats stands to reason.
The Very First Battlefield was CODENAME EAGLE, November 1999, By Refraction games and their Refraction Engine(which got purchased by Dice and turned into the Frostbite Engine and Battlefield). thus creating the Battlefield series.
I played that game and have been with the Battlefield series ever since. from 1999 to 2021. Never been asked to test any of the games.
Same with Assassins Creed it was a really good franchise.
Others wanted to let their game look like AC without it being an AC rip-off.
But then ubi changed it to look like those games.
Now "ac" is a The witcher/Shadow of mordor rip-off.
And also looks God of War: killing gods and their beasts.
It's also because casual players like open world and stuff.
They complain that they have to start over after keep getting caught. (Because they don't change tactics)
Now in the last 3 games you run in, kill everything that moves, pick up the key, next mission.
No more rules in AC.
Not even speaking about (that awful leveling system so you almost have to buy xp boosts) micro transactions.
If you complain to Nintendo, saying that they have to change Super Mario in a way that you don't have to collect stars or safe the princess anymore.
(I know what u think but those are spinoff games)
They might hire real Assassins to kill you. Lol
