I just bought the game and on the odd time i don't get the MIKE-01 code i keep getting this one. I hope you can help me fix this for my playstation 4 or help me get a refund. Honestly the latter would be a disappointment.

We have a connectivity troubleshooting guide for Xbox which I'd recommend following. In particular, be sure to contact your ISP to ask for their help in setting up UPnP and having an open NAT.
If that doesn't help, please let me know if you are able to connect to other games from your Xbox without issue, and if you're able to try connecting using a different network (for example, by setting up a wireless hotspot with your phone, and connecting to it via Wifi).
