So, who will be taken a break (or leaving permanently) from D2 April 1?
You think this might be the end of D2 (i.e. game killer) as we know it or is it too early to tell?

I tried the demo and the gameplay is nothing like TD. It may use cover but it is euphemistically not as smooth as TD.
It may have merit on its own, but it's not a competitor of TD.
I plan to give it a shot, but without live service, and continued end game support, I don't see myself staying too long.
Nope. You'd have to pay me to play Outriders - not my style.
I'm already on break, playing Ghost Recon [where headshots are actually headshots and I don't have to care about loot] ;)
See y'all when new content drops [or the next cosmetic event if I like the goods]..
As with all new titles:
Wait for release.
Wait for reviews.
Wait for a sale.
Early adoption in the videogame industry is a recipe for disappointment. And while I credit Outriders for being cool enough to run a demo(something more publishers should do), I didn't see anything in that demo that caused me to believe that it will be head and shoulders above anything else on the market.
Besides which, they're going up against Destiny and Warframe more than Division. The whole sci-fi magic powers gameplay is in a very different category than the semi-realistic flavor of the Division franchise, despite them all being looter-shooters. And both Destiny and Warframe are F2P with zero barrier to entry.
I don't know. Outriders is going to have to be pretty damn amazing in order to do more than simply survive.
Not impressed. Just another RUNnGun game from all that I've seen. This is a "rip" off of, Warframe(skills that make you teleport), Destiny(teleport/semi flying around, hordes to kill), Gears of War(hordes), and COD(run around like an idiot spamming shots)
Warframe & Destiny do it better, so I've heard. Don't like either of them.
Not into that SciFi crap...
I'll wait until it's 5 bucks then MAY try it....
Been playing the demo and enjoying it. One thing I like is what you do and gear you collect in the demo will transfer to the live game when it goes active on the 1st of April. Also the devs have been very transparent and, after dealing with the secrecy and ghosting of the player base by the devs of Division 2, it's a very nice breath of fresh air. Will I stick with the game? Who knows but I am willing to give it a chance.
Good I'll finally get to enjoy a PvE Dark Zone
