Snowshoe-593036C0
Just started New Dawn and we've yet to get the co-op working. I'm getting a "Continue playing through the campaign to access online features. Error: Snowshoe-593036C0"
We've completed the tutorial bits separately but can't play together.
We've had issues with the FC5 co-op, but after DNS Flushing & Hosts fixes on her laptop we were co-opping fine.
We finished FC5 last week and this week we began New Dawn. Now I can't open the In-Game Party at my end. I've flushed the DNS, replaced the Hosts file, verified integrity of the game files...the internet is fine, as we're talking away on discord the whole time. I've a sub 9ms ping, 67mbs in and 24mbs out.
I'm finding the Port Forwarding instructions impossible to follow as my ISP router makes doing so very difficult. Is there any other thing we can do?
PS We're still fine playing FC5 & Hours of Darkness...just New Dawn won't...

Hey JohnJMarachuk!
I am sorry you are encountering this issue. I appreciate you guys already went through a lot of steps in regard to Far Cry 5, however New Dawn would also require port forwarding before we could troubleshoot further.
I know this can be a pain sometimes as it depends on the ISP and router, but its a step we would always ask you to try before troubleshooting further.
When you have done so, if the issue persists please let us know!

Solved
I have a solution and it's so easy it's extremely annoying that I wasn't able to find it before...
Bless the Ubi Support guy who went off script to make this suggestion after we went through every single step with the DNS and port forwarding and yada yada.
To complete the tutorial, it's not enough to be in Prosperity and pick up side missions, fix your avatar and talk to Carmina...you have to *talk to Kim and receive your first story mission*. Then and only then does co-op unlock.
So, talking to Kim is the new version of finishing Dutch's Island.
Think the dudes at Ubi could be pretty specific on this...especially as the Snowshoe error has a number. It should have been immediately clear.
:: sigh ::
Bullet sponges, yuk :)

Yeah, years later we're still learning about the Far Cry games.
For example, while I knew that unlocking Arcade mode requires you to finish Dutch's Island in 5, starting a new game will reset Arcade access and require you to play through it again. So if you wanted to do the walkaway ending, you'll end up restarting the game _again_ if you ever wanted to get back to Arcade. :P

Thanks for sharing this for anyone else who might be having this issue JohnJMarachuk!
