People who "have the common sense to know that *****ing about an issue they're clearly aware of isn't helping anything," should perhaps also have the common sense to read what other people have posted.
Most users are not "*****ing" about an issue that Ubisoft is aware of, they're displeased about how Ubisoft is dealing with a product they purchased. We're all aware that the developers are aware of the problem. It's what they (don't) do about it and how they (don't) communicate this information.
Moreover, when we read what other people say on this forum, we find that there are some good insights that might help someone or at least save them some time. For instance, it has been established that screwing around with your settings is not going to get the game to run.
Actually though, it might... One could reformat all the drives, install Windows 7 fresh and start from there. Then set all graphic parameters to their minimum value, reduce the windows size, turn off the color, and you're good to go.
