Sorry if this is an old topic, but I couldn't find any good threads on it.
Is there any way to speed up accumulation of these? As I understand it once you hit 1,000 it's easy as every level boost give you some, but I am not there yet.

Complete challenges on Summit. Summit caches drop SHD calibration and a random assortment of other optimization mats. You can also buy optimization caches using stars from the global event.
Don't they reward then on challenging control points? Or at least the possibility to get the crafting blueprint.
Also if you level up another character from 30 to 40 and clear NY you can use your SHD points on those mats. As new characters start with your current watch level.
Best way to do it I've found is to farm for green gear set pieces. Deconstructing those gives blue mats that you can use to craft SHD materials. You can do that by just doing stuff in a targeted set gear zone or summit.
As above. The fastest way is spamming the gauntlet on the Summit challenges (30). If you have enough game currency, you can purchase and deconstruct mods for printer filaments, and/or individual items (gear/weapons) for their respective components.
BTW, I already burned through all my 4K+ watch level points on my four characters,, so this comes from experience.
Regardless, as will become evident, the rate of expenditure far exceeds the rate of accumulation, despite the optimization revision (-0.75)... so prepare yourself for suspensions.
An exploit gaining traction is where players spend a day levelling up an 'alt' and use the SHD levels immediately transferred to said alt(s). Then they delete and repeat.
BTW, Sock, creating an alt(s) may still be a viable option for you, but that viability is diminishing as everyone smells EOL in the air. Remember, SHD levelling is shared across all SHD activated characters per account. Therefore, levelling up is multiplicative, and something you will notice the returns on once you hit 999.
Well, I just noticed I don't have any of the optimization mat blueprints.
Ain't that a bummer...
Looks like you've got some CP3s in your future ;)
