Please refrain from naming and shaming in the forums as this is against the rules.
Report any suspicious behavior you see to our support team.
Attach your findings and they will conduct an internal investigation and handle the report internally from there on.
The community has been doing this for months if not longer. Sometimes it is best to just come out and admit when a game is no longer being looked after. I respect the pan handler who tells me the money if for alcohol than I do when they give me a sob story. The hacks have been reported for months. SOTG is ineffective and short. People are banned for asking about cheaters with large followers on YT. Nightmare was inexplicably cancelled. I guess respect is something that is no longer worth having from your community.
PVP is known trash in this game, either avoid it, or accept the cheating because nothing will be done about it. Ever.
I have been continuously documenting and reporting the same hacker for 6 months now. From aimbotting across the map, shooting you through solid terrain, firing semi-auto weapons (Scorpio) full auto, teleporting, etc. Nothing will get done. They barely bother cut n' pasting the correct game name into the response script. One of the last reports I submitted, they said they were sending it to Rainbow Six Siege department.
Unfortunately this. Until they actually begin to address this, the community will continue to have no faith or trust in this team. Cheating must be eradicated.
The issue is the ultimate hipocracy. Ban 1.5 million players for using an in game damage amplifier on NPC's. Yet, allow rampant cheaters in PvP who are obviously using scripts, Cronus max or zen, etc....I guess it's more important to play holier than thou and kick sand in the face of your core community, and ignore and pretend PvP cheating isn't happening every second of every day, that you do absolutely nothing about.
There are two things a community will NEVER respect. Being ignored and total hipocracy.
He means shooting through walls not wallhack I think. Wallhack is a program that allows the player to see through walls whereas what he is talking about is a Noclip cheat.
Anyway, most of these seems to be AutoHotkeys and Cheat Engine based cheats. I don't understand why they aren't detected by the "anticheat".
Personally, I don't care what people do in the Dark Zone; It's an interesting experiment to see how low people will go to win and from what I've seem there is no limit to the depths of the abyss.
Don't stoop to their level though because it's a slippery slope to failure. People who automate even the simplest things lose all ability to compete with real players.
The next game will come along and they will not have that skill and confidence that they would have had if they had learned to play like the rest of us but then again these people are never skilful anyway; that's why games these days always offer some advantage in gear or allow unfair group matchmaking.
Some people will never be good enough and need a crutch to prop up their fragile egos.
It reminds me of the old LAN Party days. I'd come along and kick all the renowned online players asses and then intimidate them for the rest of the evening.
Cheating in online games is a lot more common than people realise. The first bot I ever saw was the Stanford Stoogebot back in the 90's. If you were a normal player without great movement and skill you would stick out like a sore thumb using Stooge but if you were one of the best you could use Stooge without raising any suspicion and thus guarantee a win even on off-days just like the professionals do these days sometimes.
It can make sound fiscal sense to catch these people because then they will buy a new copy of the game and start all over again making if very profitable to constantly ban these people ad infinitum but it could be much better in the long run to let them carry on fooling themselves into oblivion because the eventual fall will be much more costly and damaging in the end and infinitely more pleasurable for the rest of us LOL.
People cheat; its a fact of life so get use to it.
I don't play it anymore but if your going in the dark zone you may as well go over to Chronus max and pick up the cheat package they offer for free hell they will even give you support if you can't get it to work - how do you compete with that stuff as a developer - the Dark zone its ruined forever by cheaters.
