Just Dance 2021 Unlimited with other accounts on the same Switch
Here's the scenario:
1) We bought the kids a Nintendo Switch for Christmas (It's our primary and ONLY console)
2) We have a family group on the Switch, with my account as the Parent/Administrator account, and each of my 2 children have separate Switch accounts (for saved games, stats, etc....)
3) We purchased JDU 2021 from the eShop using my account (Parent)
4) We purchased the 1 year unlimited pass from the eShop at the same time (Purchased under my eShop account).
5) Kids start the game as one of their accounts and tries to play using a song that is marked as "Unlimited" and can't--they get nagged to purchase a subscription. However, they immediately receive the special avatars because of having the subscription....
6) Unlimited pass works perfectly when game is launched using MY account (which is NOT what we intended)
Is by design? Is the unlimited pass able to be used for ALL the family accounts on the system (me, wife, 2 kids)? If this is by design, this is a really crap setup and defeats the purpose of having the family group (and seems like a greedy money grab). We have no issues with this on our Apple devices.....just saying.
Just danced unlimited not working on family mode
I have exactly the same query. I bought the switch console for Christmas, everyone in the household has a profile on the switch (for saved games, playlists, rewards etc), but the unlimited tracks can only been played when I’m logged in. My account is the primary (and registered with Ubisoft). We also have a Nintendo online family 12 month subscription.
