Yeah, we really need a hero with superarmor on everything. Honestly, it is better to have a useless hero than a hero who is extremely unfair. His design is the most terrible among the heroes, he is either like this, or the most broken S tier. I prefer this. Just like I prefer a weaker Shugoki, Lawbringer or Jormungandr over one who completely ruins the core of the game.
Yeah because super armour on almost anything and revenge ignoring attacks are the balance we Need.
Just be patient. I would speculate an appropriate rework will be coming sometime next year, when covid clears up and the team can get back in the studio and do some good mocap.

I might just be dumb but what do you mean by sarcasm? Shinobi did indeed have hyper armor on some actions like his kick. Shinobi was incredibly unhealthy for the game but he's in a rough spot now. He got the PK treatment, honestly.
Try to be more civil next time. The thread is about Shinobi and Goat talked about Shugoki. I just pointed it out to him because he often do not read posts carefully. But if you also think as him that Shinobi has superarmor, than you should visit FH wiki first. Just a little advice (without sarcasm).
They should make him exclusively a ranged hero but reduce the range he currently has on ranged attacks. Make ranged light and heavy combos that have maybe the same range as nobushi?
I dunno. Others here like knight raime and goat of vermund are better for actual numbers and statistics but my rough idea is giving shinobi more ranged options that aren't knockdowns on parry/cgb. His ranged gb should also remain but with reduced range and regular cgb mechanics. No getting pulled down.
His identity is this hyper mobile ranged character. His movement should be his greatest defense and his range his greatest offense. Currently, his ranged moves are quite terrible and his close range combos are too simple and they just suck.
Light attacks could be straight shots like nobu light attacks and then heavies could be wider swings. Could even have a helicopter move like conqs zone except with a slower spin and wider trajectory.
Kick now only guarantees a light like nobu but the kick can wallsplat and that gives the heavy.
Remove the weird heavy grab thing. Its weird and kinda dumb. Give him a triple heavy combo and the finisher acts similar to nuxia heavy finisher except shinobi pulls in towards himself for a special move or something?
His movement should stay and his kick, backflip, and rolling kick should too. The kicks only give free lights now but the combo straight shot lights chain to rolling kick just like the current ranged heavies and he can still backflip after an input but it ends the chain.
