In previous Trials games the up and down arrows would move between lanes when testing a Supercross track in editor.... not any more apparently. Does anyone know if it's possible to test every lane in Rising?

I don't think you can, but I don't think they actually get used anyway. It's my understanding that the other lanes only show replay ghosts from runs in the main (front) lane.
This is what I've heard, but if this has changed someone let us know in here.
I personally have not made a Supercross track.
Only the front main driveline is used. The ghosts will run on the other lines. Obstacles on other lines should be the same or same general shape as the main line. This way the ghosts appear to ride over the obstacles.
Basically, all drivelines must be identical.
Thanks for clearing that up. It's disappointing since I wanted to make tracks for local multiplayer but experience from other Trials games tells me without testing all lanes there's bound to be sections that don't flow well.
Can't understand why they'd remove that feature... it was already built into the editor tool from previous games.
Hey Jman I have a thread called
Supercross Track ?
I was having some of the same issues.
You might find some useful info there !
But for the most part MadMotoMan and Old Rockman I do believe are correct.
Another thing was I don't think you can resize terrain mod like you could in previous trials just height and/or depth !
Yeah I think you're right about the terrain editor.
I stuck with it dispite these issues and made a supercross track and just looked over every lane really carefully.
.... But I found another problem... the track works fine in test and when playing it solo... but when we play it on party mode the last few checkpoints don't work and neither does the finish line...
It's a pretty full track with a heap of effects but if thats a problem for the editor it needs to tell me before I spend hours and hours on it.
It's really put me off making more tracks.
Understandable.
I really hope the next version cleans up some of the "mess" in the editor. It's really cool to incorporate the things from other versions into one but, when you do you really have to be sure everything works correctly, or block the items that don't, or Warn the players that a thing is disabled.
That should be the top priority in a future version. Get everything working, then add to it.
A more organized editor would be really nice too. There's so much cool stuff, but it's really confusing.
...and get rid of all the duplicate items. With scaling, it's not needed.
I love the game and the editor has some amazing features even if the menus are a bit unorganised.
Just a shame there's these little issues they haven't fixed.
