Hi everybody
I tried the PS4 version of Just Dance 2021 on the PS5
Motion detection works on the Playstation Camera and Camera Adapter
Yes, but to get an adaptor for the old ps camera one should own PS VR which is not really an option. Very disappointing that the nextgen version of the game lost the key feature (I mean lack of the HD camera support)
I bought the PS5 version on launch day. The whole family's bitterly disappointed in the game. How can you expect a 3 year old and 7 year old to use smartphones? They're much more likely to be thrown through the TV. I also purchased the camera, which is now dead weight. At least Amazon is letting me return the PS5 version. We loved using our motion controllers on PS4.
I'll purchase the ps4 version and hope the motion controllers are still viable. If not, we'll be cancelling our JD unlimited, returning that version and never buying another Ubisoft JD game.
Very disapointed. One of the only games that makes sense of using a camera. How do you ecpect a 7 year old to play this game and not throw the phone....seriously! And to make even dumber, you cant even play the game unless you pair a phone. Ubisoft really messed up on this one.
I have my JD20 from my PS4 and wanted to play it on my PS5 using the HD camera and it will NOT recognize it. I guess since the game was meant for the PS4, it is asking to connect with that camera instead.. It really bothers me too. I have my 8 year old daughter who loved playing that game on my PS4 with the camera and I thought it would be the same going into the PS5.
I just hope Sony fixes this issue and give access to play games using it. Right now it is only for streaming games.. SUCKS!!!
I am looking for the JD21 and see if that will work with the camera or not before spending that money.
Hope I answered your question
