Highly likely as both 5 and ND did. Most games have them now, and as long as companies make money by including them, they will continue to have them. The way they had them in 5 was ok, you could find the premium currency in the game, to my knowledge nothing was exclusively attainable through the premium currency and it was all purely cosmetic, so it didn't bother me much, I never paid extra for anything and don't feel like I 'missed out' on something so...

This big conveyor needs fuel.
It needs money.
(As for me, I'm not against good game-making conveyor.
Conveyor is not a bad thing.)
That's why all those microtransactions.
For games developing.
Of course, a lot of people don't like it.
The main thing in this case - is not to go too far with that.
Ballance.
Sense of proportion.
A thin line when a slight irritation and dislike turns into deep hatred and rejection.
What can cause rejection?
Compulsion. Coercion.
It can be direct, or the most important - indirect forcing.
Otherwise, one day we'll have something like this ......

Likely.
Though there wasn't anything I found a 'necessary' purchase in either 5 or New Dawn.
That’s a good thing actually, because as long as nothing is “necessary” it’s not PTW. I actually like stores in games as long as everything is purely cosmetic. Or, if a weapon, an equivalent weapon can be attained without buying it for cash. As long as purchases don’t give more power than can be attainable in game I’m for it.
SWTOR is a great example of a perfect store ... HUGE selection of stuff but nothing gives you an advantage.
For me there's a line where microtransactions become intrusive or predatory.
So far Ubisoft has stayed on the ride side of the line, but it's always worth a discussion and always worth vigilance.
With mtx, I'll never be "for it", but so long as they keep them reasonable and outside the realm of predatory I'm not super against it per se...
I don't mind MTXs if they don't provide multiplayer boosts. I do mind when a game is built for MTXs instead of being built for what the directors vision is.
With microtransactions or not ..... let's hope Far Cry 6 will be a good game!
Today there is a strong tendency, very trendy - to scold and critisize Ubisoft.
Just every dog in the streets won't miss a chance to throw a stone at Ubisoft.
Ubi.....and many epithets there.
If you're not ****ging off the company... something must be wrong with you.
"ONCE UPON A TIME UBISOFT WAS MAKING GOOD GAMES"
Sometimes criticism is justified.
But for the most part its just a trend - everyone do that.
Sometimes Ubisoft itself throws oil on that bonfire.
"Prince of Persia" - without explaining that this is a nostalgic game. With all its consequences.
"Immortals Fenix Rising" - looking like Zelda clone.
Now all those harassment scandals that create unhealthy atmoshere among people in the company.
Unhealthy atmoshere is not a friend of productive work.
Let's hope Far Cry 6 will be the first crack of light through that gloomy cloud.
Trailer was very good. It was the first victory.
Developers, don't hurry with the gameplay demonstration if you're not sure!
Let it be your second victory, not defeat. ( like it was with Valhalla gameplay leak)
