Game's not being ported over to next gen.
Why would you ask that on a Ubisoft forum? 🤔
I heard the PS5 and new Xbox are scheduled for release in November which would make a lot of sense commercially in the run up to Xmas. But as Merphee says at the moment there are no plans in place to port TD2 to the next gen consoles. Things can of course change though but it seems unlikely.
I also read somewhere that developers are going through a 'painful' process trying to downgrade PS5 and Series X games for their respective current-gen counterparts.
Massive will lose a lot of players when they transition to the PS5. Most people who jump onto new system rarely fires-up the old system again.
You can play your PS4 games on the PS5 I just wonder if you can take games from the PlayStation store that you purchased for PS4 and load them on the PS5.
Do not really want to deal with cheaters and hackers. And I really hate that Windows crap. I will stick with a console.
Consoles don't hold anything back, developers for PC games push for the lowest possible PC requirements too, for better sales. Consoles don't have to account for that, since all specs are mostly the same. Developers can extract more out the hardware.
If anything, new consoles push the bottom limit to higher possibilities prize wise and spec wise, since consoles are sold with a loss.

True, true….but not as much as on a PC..
