It happened to me playing on heroic with 4 directives yesterday. Officer died, I killed the final boss, CP4 reverted to CP1, the main chest was full of purple crap. When I looted it, CP has changed back to heroic.

Interesting, that's two people who've had the officer downed, then discovered loot was purple :confused: It's a long shot, but what platform do you use?

I just cleared heroic Ivy Tunnel (on challenging world difficulty) and let the officer get downed during the attack phase, then left him down during the defend phase:

Note how the CP shows as heroic above, but the world difficulty is not shown.
On opening the supply box, the loot is all gold (rainbow sacrifice shown for LOL's):

I also tried it on the Nest, but picked up the officer and the loot was gold.
And before some other muppet comes in and whines about "white knights", I'm trying to establish how to reproduce this, not deny that it happened (see riflemania's video).

The CP Officer and all his allies died - not downed- we had to call in another set of allies. When he died the CP4 changed to CP1.

What you are describing and what the others are describing from CP4 down to CP1 sounds just like the previous bug, where if you take a CP3(challenging) and the final leader dies on the defend stage the world difficulty changes from Challenging to Normal. (saying that the loot was terrible in the CP3) as though it was normal loot) so not sure if it was really a Bug.
Or if you are in the CP area once captured it says normal but when you leave the world difficulty changes to challenging .

PS: i'm not saying it's the same thing but changing from CP4 down to CP1 almost has similarities to what was before (IE: changing from world difficulty challenging down o Normal)

This also. Happens if rogues pop in and you somehow die. Even with global difficulty on Heroic, if you die to rogues and res pawn, the CP for some odd reason is normal. I never wrote about it because as far as I know that’s something the devs did on purpose to keep folks from dying to skip rogue encounters.
Forgot to add, i could of shown a full 2 minute clip but i clipped it just to show that cache part so you would of seen more.....not that there was much more to see but oh well.
Or was it a 5 min clip.....:confused:.....can't remember, was on the beers :o
