If I reported every cheater in the DZ I'd never be able to play the game, it really is that bad!
Every day I am killed by some loser using RPM and Triggerbot, 3 shots and your dead!
Then there's the total losers with the silentaim cheat engine wiping out whole servers in less than 5 minutes and also the one that turns your team rogue if you kill the cheat loser.
Now we have kids off school for summer vacation it can only get worse.
Not being funny but i spent years reporting people who i literally caught on a clip admitting to using a cronus and then showing how it worked...or a lag switvh etc...nobody did anything, i ran into the same guy 2 weeks ago...after reporting it years ago. So my faith in Ubi to do anything about cheaters is shot, i have absolutely no faith in ubi as a company who actually care and have just had to accept that cheaters are going to be there forever and ubi are happy to have cheaters play.
I was however satisfied with the stance they took prior to td2 release, but ive reported known and clear cheats since then and nothing is done and they're still there. This will however be the last division game i purchase as to be quite frank, i cant trust what ubi say.
From listening to various players, MAC spoofing allows cheats to aquire new accounts. In fact 1 well known cheater admitted he has been banned over 100x in the last 3 months, so apparently something is being done.
This worries me that they are leaving it up to the players to report cheats -yes it should also be an option, but many times players find it hard to know if the other player is actually cheating or they are just the victim of a dodgy connection etc etc! What should be happening is Ubisoft polices its game better and actually searches for these cheats, there must be good indications for some of these players, and a good place to start is players that are prolific winners, those who have fire rates above and beyond the norm, players that win and disconnect or have irregular connections or similar patterns that could flag them up as cheats, this metadata must be stored by Ubisoft and easily searchable, once a player is flagged up they can be monitored!Quote:

When Ubisoft catches a cheat, but don't want to ban them because as is pointed out they spoof their MAC address new email blah blah blah and hey presto they're back again almost immediately, Ubisoft should be more subtle and place the cheats all on their own separate servers, or when the game detects the possible use of Cronos, Trigger bot, Aim bot, lag switch or any other methods known about they should subtly alter things for these cheats like increasing the fire rate of their weapons to such a degree it jams the game, or the gun won't stop firing so everybody can hear them from a mile off! Or a quick server change to an empty server, one they cannot get out of unless they reboot the machine, blue screen them....... Or give the player they are shooting at super powers, cheat piercing bullets and anti Cronos armour...........
Come on Ubi get creative with these morons and play them at their own game!
I have never understood HOW the cheats could work. I mean, RPM hacks for instance, aren't those hard-coded in the game?
Semi-related. I can't believe they can't get rid of the Asian spammer. Especially that LaoDi guy. All he does is change his name and comes right back. No one in the world posts on an exact same schedule. Nor does anyone post the same message every 10 seconds. Even LFG people wait for responses first. I don't know anything about game programming, but if this was email spam, I could get it whipped into shape fairly quickly as I spend part of my work week in I.T. doing just that.
