New look at players with the DZ Mentality.
So I joined randoms that was farming the DZ. Played with this team for hours, everything fine. Go to a extraction and at the last moment, I get a message that a teammate went Rogue, then I die instantly, then the message that I was kicked from the team. Welcome to the DZ. Not upset and not surprised.
I respawn and get a invite from the leader to rejoin the group. I respectfully decline. Few minutes later I get a message from the leader, "Sorry man, it had to happen. It's the DZ ya know. So we had to jack your stuff. lol"
So I responded with, "Whatever. It was uncool, but it is the DZ"
Then he ask if I am going to take the invite.
I told him I wasn't interested.
He's then asked, "Why not?"
At this point I was thinking, this is stupid. So I told him, "Cause I can't trust you."
He said, "But I want to return your loot."
"Why didn't you extract it?" I asked.
HIs response, " I did."
"Once you kicked me and then extracted. You can't give the loot back. It's yours and I have no interest in playing with players that play like that. It's a loyalty thing. It's a respect thing. You got the loot and it's fine. I learned my lesson and won't play with you guys ever again."
He then apologizes and asking for my forgiveness.
After that, I get a message that they are following me and added me to their Friends list. So I block them at this point.
So my question is, so if you gank a player do you really expect them to be happy about it? Do players think, once you stick it to another player, that they still want to play the game with you? It's the DZ and what happens, happens. Yet I didn't understand the need to push it after that.
