Careful don't give the 10-30 remaining developers on this AAA game too much work to do.
Hey,
We are looking into enemies being stuck in spawn closets across particular missions and please note that we are currently looking into our servers.
It could be the servers which are providing you with invisible walls but please be assured we have a dedicated team looking into this.
Changed my Hard drive to an SSD at xmas not had a single invisible wall since PS4 pro
Ya'll are "looking into" the issue of enemies spawning behind locked doors? Let me give you guys some help. Go do the events that are closest to Ivy Tunnel control point just south of the control point. There are two -- a territory control and also a propaganda speaker. Do both of those events, and you will find one or both of those events will have no wave of enemy reinforcements, and hence you cannot complete the vent.
Now, walk north towards the stairs that lead to the Ivy Tunnel control point. You will notice on your HUD radar you will see enemies indicated. Now look really, really closely at the wall covered in ivy right next to the staircase. You will see all those NPC's embedded in that wall. Now, go find the development team that defined the spawn point and ask them to fix it.
Next, have all the development teams double-check the validity of the spawn points.
If you really feel like going above and beyond, talk to the engine development team and ask if there is a way to have the engine check the spawn points for validity and reject the build if invalid spawn points are defined.
You are welcome.
I have also seen it where the enemies spawn literally on top of one another, as you can see in the video below. Because these NPCs spawned right on top of one another, they were unable to move. So apparently, they can't be spawned right on top of each other.
Maybe a talk with the engine developers to find out how this can happen, and then getting that word out to the level developers to ensure they aren't spawning NPC's in this manner... and extra credit if you get the game engine to test the validity of spawn points.
Your welcome.

I tried 6 times last night to run the Bank mission with reanimation on. As I just wanted to get the thing done and thought I'd complete the daily project I just ran it on hard.
It worked fine until I got into the room where I have to get to the computer and then defend the room. The first wave would attack me and then that would be all that happened. No amount of searching located any stuck NPC's. I tried logging out, restarting it etc as I wanted to see if it would complete. After 6 attempts I gave up as it was getting late and I'd completed the days reanimation requirements.
I've also encountered several missions where the reanimated NPC are inside walls and you can't kill them at all, even with chem launchers. Great to see that they have fully tested this GE before releasing it
typical cryptic response with no clear resolution... if I had a nickle for every time " we are looking..." was a response lol. The only thing I am assured of is that after fours year the same bugs are in the game as day one. LOL good luck selling any copies of D3 lmao.
Yep, I did the same awhile back and and it fixed it instantly. The game simply isnt optimized correctly to run on the older/slower systems. I dont think it will ever be fixed in this game for the current generation consoles.
For those of you having issues, best advice i can give is to delete any old games that you rarely or never play to free up some hard drive space, the fuller your drive, the slower your system runs and this is exactly where the invisible walls come from. Or upgrade to an ssd but i know thats not practical for most.
First of all, why the hell do I always have to set my screen BACK to full screen every time i start the game.
Back on topic. this is my favorite one since it's been like this since day one. Does anybody at Massive have a clue? In Judiciary Square there is an area where there is usually a Public Execution going on where the 2nd wave of enemies get stuck and it's not because the door won't open. The door can't open because the base of the wall is built over it...brilliant work, guys...just brilliant.
