Ubisoft's rollback is click bait. Stop posting!! Official message from supportpaste.
All -- stop posting about the Glitch or how unfair it is. This was most likely done ON PURPOSE in order to generate more traffic. Negative mentions are MORE POWERFUL than positive mentions because they generate MORE TRAFFIC. More traffic = more popularity = more money.
This ban was done ON PURPOSE.
To further prove my point, the roll back and bank, which should have effected all users equally, did not effect the YouTubers that were posting guidance on how to perform the glitch. Want proof? Check out Widdz or Born2Game on Youtube. Their accounts are fine. Why is that? They generate more traffic.
Ubisoft is a massively corrupt organization. I have already looked into a class action law suit against them, but unfortunately they are shielded by the fact that this roll back can not be tied to any monetary value. A discrimination claim won't work either.
The only thing you can do is stop playing and stop posting.
Official message:
I respect your love and passion for the game and thank you for sharing your stance on the current situation. To clarify, the rollback is a full rollback of the profile, going back to March 17th, yes. I understand from your perspective how this can feel harsh or unjust. However, a complete investigation was launched, the infraction was identified, and this result is what our teams felt to be the fairest and appropriate for the situation to maintain the integrity of the game for those who did not engage in the exploit, as mentioned previously.
It is unusual for our teams to have to engage in adjustments of this nature, so if you have additional feedback on your experience with this event, our teams would love to hear it in our official forum location so that these sentiments can be compiled and delivered to our Production teams for consideration in the future. You can participate in these threads here: https://forums.ubisoft.com/forumdisp...s-amp-Feedback.
I also want to be clear, that according to our Code of Conduct for the game, it states:
"When you play Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, you must respect other Users and their user rights. The following points must be upheld by everyone and will be enforced by the Ubisoft staff:
Any suspected breach of the Code of Conduct or Terms of Use will lead to an investigation by Ubisoft staff. Ubisoft reserves the right to suspend, ban, or delete any User’s account without prior warning or notice."
---
Note: The terms of service do NOT say anything abut an allowed rollback. "Suspend, Ban or Delete" - NOT TAKE AWAY PROGRESS.
I've had enough. They have lost me as a customer.
