About the improvement in communication
I understand that communication itself and especially keeping players informed with all of these channels of communication these days requires effort. Therefore, in regards to the announced intention to improve communication, which is something that I have mentioned a couple of years ago already, I appreciate your reflection in this regard. I also think that overall you already have a rather good approach or practice regarding communication.
There is however one very recent example that I believe that I can give you and without wanting to sound entitled, it unfortunately is a rather annoying one. I had a look at https://tomclancy-thedivision.ubisoft.com/game/en-us/news-updates yesterday or the day before, so Wednesday or Tuesday, because I noticed in the last couple of days underneath the game entry on the console that there is an ongoing sale and I wondered whether there may be something more in terms of gameplay. I have to say that I really like this news section and I immediately bookmarked it. I checked a couple of articles and decided that I will postpone playing the game again for a short while.
Then, during the late afternoon to evening, I noticed the "Twitch" notification about a new "State of the Game" and prior to launching the first instalment, yes the first, and don't you even dare to you know what, I had a look at the previously mentioned news section again and I was intrigued by the upcoming holiday event mentioned in a newly added article. I decided to watch the video of your show, it was past midnight already, which is when I learned that there is a "Black Friday Care Package" available to be claimed in the game until December 5.
The short version of this is that I missed this content but that this did not have to happen. I specifically checked your news articles for something like this while this content was well available to be claimed in the game and I would have launched the game, even briefly, to claim it. In addition, if an ending date is announced, I would expect that this means an availability until the very end of the respective date. This could contribute to the benefit of more players and it would have allowed me to claim the content.
Therefore, is there any chance to reach out to players who did not have a chance to claim this content and to add it to their inventories?
