Question about YouTube copyright claims: BMG Rights Management
I wonder, did anyone else had to deal with this? I wanted to make some AC Brotherhood videos but they have copyright claims by "LatinAutor, BMG Rights Management, AdRev Publishing, LatinAutor - PeerMusic, ARESA, SOLAR Music Rights Management, Abramus Digital" for having the AC Brotherhood soundtrack playing during cutscenes. Do we have to turn off in-game music if we want to upload AC gameplay now, or what? Are they even allowed to claim copyright on in-game music? I tried disputing but they refuse to withdraw the claims. Is it safe to try and appeal their claim? I don't want to get a copyright strike. What would be the correct course of action? The music that gets flagged is "Back in Venice", "Desmond Miles" and "Villa Under Attack" by Jesper Kyd when it's playing during gameplay and cutscenes.
