I pretty much just had the WORST controller experience ever with this game. I wanted to see what will happen if I use the JD Controller as the playing method and all I can say is please fix this asap, because this is not okay. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tLH...ew?usp=sharing
It's a link to a gameplay I recorded like 20 minutes ago to send it here but I was not expecting the game that it would start saving OVER 15 TIMES DURING THE SONG. I stopped counting at 15..it's definitely more. It really affects the score because when the game freezes the game is not getting the app's information in the correct time limits and then the game thinks I did something off the rhythm because it received the information late. I don't think the game should be saving anything at all during gameplay, the score does not save until the transition screen comes on, that's why if you leave the song or the game crashes mid song, don't see the score that you at least achieved. So therefore there's no reason for the game to save during gameplay at all. I mean, save all you want, but please fix the freeze issue before you let a game save over 20 times during one song.
Thank you

I'm playing JD 2020 with Xbox One S using Kinect. The first three days, I had noticed this problem, but it had been shorter than others have described, it was minor, it was only happening 1-3 times per song, I was able to ignore it, and it hadn't interfered with my scoring. Today, it was a little more pronounced. The first couple of times today, my inertia carried me through the move, I somehow managed to hit Perfect, and tried not to let it distract me. In the last dance, it happened twice as a new move was about to begin, and being unfamiliar with the dance I had to guess what I needed to do. Fortunately, on that particular dance it had a negligible impact on my score, but I just imagine if it had been a gold move or some move where a wrong turn would make it difficult to get back into the rhythm, it could be more significant. At any rate, it's an added challenge not to let this distract me from focusing on the choreography and rhythm.
My first thought was to wonder why the game would be saving during the dance. Since this didn't occur in the past, perhaps these instances of during-the-dance saving were implemented to help with some other issues...? In previous years, there were times when I had a great score going, the game froze, the game restarted, and all of my work was lost. I wonder if these little saves may help to prevent that (but didn't someone mention that others have actually been disconnected when these saves occur)? Perhaps there is some other technical reason for them, and my guess is way off.
I like the scoring explanations that were added in the tips, even though they provide only a little insight. I especially like the word "rhythm" that was used. In that past, I often got very much caught up in the mechanics of the choreography. This season I'm trying to focus more on the rhythm. Ironically, these little saving delays make it more challenging to match the coach's rhythm...

its not the saving icon, its that white circle icon on the bottom right...maybe it is saving but it doesn't appear after it records you when you would think it would be saving.
it causes huge frame skips and really takes you out of the dance/game.
I play it on Xbox One.
