RAID: Honest impression: Broken Enemy, Horrible Puzzle idea and Absolutely NO FUN
i watch raid from this dude https://www.twitch.tv/streamerhouse he has been playing since it came out for almost 4 hours now and still havent finish it, currently stuck at last (or 4th scene).
Here is something i learnt out from RAID:
Yoh my man, you think those drone spammer with no cool down was annoying enough? Wait to see TERMINATOR with grenade launcher spamming rocket to the point you can't even get back to cover if he decided to brust you to the ground with no hope to escape.
You think Warhound is fine? Good, how about we let you fight 2 Warhound at a same time that can 360 one shot everyone and has the ability to KNOCK YOU OUT OF COVER? And instead of keeping distance it now HUNT YOU DOWN so there is pretty much no way to escape it - unless you got lucky.
Ahh i realise this game don't have healer yet so we put in a puzzle that damage directly to your healthbar and there is no way to counter it unless you do a stupid puzzle that require 2 player to interact with a same button at a same time WHILE BEING UNDER FIRE BY THAT TERMINATOR as mention above. Seem pretty fun to me - oh don't forget the sniper as well. becareful out there
Oh you think the tank gasoline in Rooservelt was too "Tanky" and ridiculous unrealistic spoongy? How about we give you a boss at the last fight that literally the same but a bit more complicated BUT 100000 TIME TANKIER! But wait, you don't have the minigun because what is the fun at shooting at some electronic box that doesn't harm you and take more than 1 hours to destroy? This is realshjt, STREAMHOUSE has been shooting at that thing since i post this thread and he hasn't even take down half of its hitpoint yet - BTW they just got their a$$ whopsed seconds ago and have to restart the entire process
You can see how tired they are pretty much choked even thought they are working together fine enough atleast on the last or 4th scene, not because the game is too difficult, but because it feel too...boring. Shooting at a same spot over and over again with millions ton of health but one mistake and then the whole thing got reset. Does that seem like the Division we used to know? Do we really need some pointless puzzle to solve? Do the boss need to be that horriblly unbalance? Where are those impressive Incursion gone? Stolen signal, Falcon lost was 2 of my most favourite "Raid" as you may call and it was perfectly balance. Hell i done Stolen signal on heroic with 3 other random agent in my first try, FIRST TRY.
I have mixed feeling about this. Agree this type of gameplay will change the atmosphere of normal Division gameplay when you have to communicate and cooperate with perfect precision. On the otherhand, it just not fun but a chore to play. I will be honest i have never play any kind of Raid ever before (Because i mainly play PvP game like Rainbow 6, TF2 or Overwatch) and in Division game, it is NOT fun at doing again and again and again and again and shooting a big insanely massive spongy target and 1 mistake then everything is lost. It is not worth for player who play the game only 3 or 4 hours maxium a day and i think this type of content as proven, only serve like 5-10% of hardcore playerbase of this game (IE streamer, youtiber or you guys, you name it).
