Been watching some streams of twitch what Raid is about, but it looks boring with all the enemy spam and just full force shooting.

questionable puzzles/mechanics and a few cheesy difficult moments.
nothing that warrants not having matchmaking so far from what i see
For a game thats supposed to be a cover shooter, there seems to be a lot of running around.
a mix of both of those things :) look at one of the streams if youre curious, they talk too much but you get to see the mechanics.
honestly im pretty sure a bunch of patient randoms could have a lot of fun in there.
not having matchmaking for it seems like a missed opportunity.
Well if it's everything else Massive/UBI has done about the Division games it's all hype and short on content. Just more sponges!
It's like getting all worked up about a movie from watching the trailers and when you see it all the best parts of the movie you saw in the trailers.
I feel like it's less and less of a cover shooter really. Enemies don't value their own life, and I don't mean suiciders. They literally rush you while you plugging round after round into them. Makes no realistic sense, even with layers of kevlar on. I know they mentioned it before, but it seems like it never got a fix.
Well, definitely should do it with 8 people - 2 teams with 4 each for the boss. Each team occupying one stationary gun: One operating the gun, the others holding off the mobs who try to destroy the gun, and the one chosen as target by the boss needs to lure him in front of the gun since the stationary gun is the only one that can deal damage to him.
Raids are boring cause roles doesnt matter.
The raid is not very interesting to me either. Just a dps fest. Very little thinking required. No real story. Just make it insanely difficult and not require specific specs or classes. I was expecting much more, not sure why. 4 hours of beating your head against the wall once you have the mechanics figured out and hoping for the best rng on damage. Loot seems sub par for the effort.
Matchmaking would be a horrible mess.
