I love the new and old trials - but I would be remiss if the tire bobbles, game glitches, and slow mo lagged tracks haven't begun to cause frustration while trying to hone scores. Almost not worth "speed running" or trying to diamond anything yet on my skill set and to just focus on completing ninja tracks/pissin' around.
Truth be told, my biggest issue with the game is the frame drops every 30-45 seconds. So that alone has made me not want to speedrun (improve any more career tracks/get more diamonds) and following that, is the broken replays. Im an avid replay watcher, its basically my bedtime stories (or ASMR, if you will) until I close my eyes and let go of the phone and it falls down and hits me in the face, then I wake up, rinse and repeat. A few friends of mine are saving their preferred runs on specific tracks to DVR out of fear that it may be broken and im starting to do the same myself.
Other than that, im slowly beginning to lose interest in the game because ive hit my capabilities up to Blue Belt so im good for now. WIll keep checkin in every once in a while for customs/DLCs. A lot of the old builders have long abandoned TC because of the editor not saving or somethin, that may be a factor on why you don't see a lot of quality customs on TC like you would in the older games. Im starting to think it may be a bit too late for Ubisoft to try and patch all the issues.
People will come back, Fusion was a mess for a long time after release and people came back. Rising issues are pretty minor for the most part. TC just needs to be fixed and maybe MP scoring issues. Not sure if they'll fix the lag issues on some tracks. Loot crates are a non issue as far as game play goes, though i'm not having any issues with them. People will come back in 6 months or so.
Yeah, I take solace in the fact that we now regard Fusion as a great addition to the franchise despite the launch being abysmal and the theme initially being too limiting. Rising IS a great game right now and is the true sequel to evolution. Questionable decision making and annoying bugs and performance issues are (hopefully) only temporary :D
Couldnt agree more tbf like and the fact stadiums are still broke 2 whole months after launch and the fact that there are still glitches runs that they haven’t got rid of yet but yet look how quick they got rid of coffin runs on fusion
I love it. Still playing it daily. Still finding plenty to do. The complaints are small, but also magnified by the fact they have lingered for way too long. Such as not receiving Trials Coins since the DLC launched, which is also the best time to be earning them. If you're going to design the economy around earning things to buy things, then you need to not break the earning part for so long. This includes lootboxes which have been broken since launch. I'm on PC and haven't had any technical issues, plus I play on ultrawide so I greatly appreciate that glorious 21:9 Trials gameplay. Other issues are Contracts which are seemingly impossible, or have stupid requirements like "no more than 4 faults" when it would be impossible to beat the time required with that many faults. Before someone says that sounds petty, what it shows to me is a lack of attention being paid, and it somehow making it through the implementation, through testing, then through release, and that's a concern. Although when you consider the terrible TC UI and the other issues which have been there since launch, it's just another example of the lack of care and attention from whichever part of the team is responsible for the non-gameplay parts of the game.
I'm concerned for the longer term about Track Central. The devs annoyed a lot of gamers at launch with various foolish design decisions and technical issues which has surely hurt sales. Then TC's UI makes it a mess to find and rate tracks, and I've heard it's a pain to make them too. So I'm a little worried that may never reach its full potential if creators decide it's not worth it.
Without a doubt. Unlike Fusion, Rising hasn't sold even half the units. Follow that up with the number of bugs and laggy gameplay, sketchy lbs.
I'd like to see Rising become the game we want...but I'll say for sure, that is not happening.
Expect this to go on blowout sale soon, Ubi to cut their losses and add more outfits.
A good question is, why was it released in this state. An early release gamble didn't pay off.
I doubt the player base was there to begin with.
Fusion release...no MP for 10 months
Blood Dragon...turns off more people.
Rising...most bugs I've encountered in a game....early sale...I don't see the game doing over 1 million sales....which is 20% of Trials HD.
A small franchise should be rigorous in dialing in the game for release. Every player counts when you're in a niche game market. They thought otherwise, and here we are.
It's basically listening to late and missing the timing for Rising...
I just created this post here...otherwise, I'd be making a great game myself.:o

This is what scares me. The game glitches like the frame rate drop are enough to laugh at the screen out of sheer anger, but to consider this as the best it is going to get is the ****s. I don't get to game as much as when I was younger, so trials is a perfect game to decompress with. I probably won't buy another game for quite some time and I really hope some of the major issues get fixed before the game is abandoned.
Its only been out 2 months, i doubt they are giving up on it. Things take time to work out, i just dont think they expected there to be so many issues, especially design flaws like on TC especially, total fail.
