How to get rid of the stupid World Tier?
I am a single player. I do not like multiplayer. I have zero interest of playing with other people.
Up until now, The Division was playable as a single player game, challenging, but playable as long as you leveled up a few levels above the enemies in whatever area you were playing in. Fine. Then I hit level 30, and the game suddenly decided to put me into World Tier 1. I did not put myself into that, I was fine staying at tier zero. I had no interest in making the game harder. But now suddenly I’m at tier 1 and all the enemies are level 30 and all of them are bullet sponges that can practically 1 shot kill me. I cannot even make it through a random encounter now, let alone finish the game. The game is now completely unplayable unless I grind for weeks on end trying to get enough in game credits to buy gold gear. I will not do that. That is not fun. I play this game to have fun, and to me grinding is not fun, it is annoying. For me, the game is now totally unplayable, and I am about to rage quit.
The only reason I can think of why this system was implemented is to try to force you to play with a group, or spend real money on gear. It has ruined the game.
I. Do. Not. Want. To. Play. With. A. Group. I hate multiplayer only games and that is what this World tier system has made this.
I did not choose to go to World Tier 1. I was at zero, was done for the night, turned off the game, and when I came back, I was suddenly tier 1 and the game was unplayable.
How do I turn this ******ed thing off? I do not want to be tier 1, and I will destroy the game before I start over just because of a glitch.
While I’m on the subject, why does Ubisoft insist on having leveling enemies in the first place? It makes the whole leveling system pointless, if you level up and the enemies are always within 5 levels of you, what is the point in leveling beyond level 5? And how in the hell can 2 guns, which are identical in every way, have vastly different stats? Guns do not work that way, so why do they in the game? And how is it that I can shoot someone in the head 30 times and have them not even slow down? Ever hear of realism?
