If you guys are wondering what the terrain edit was for, it was just to make the transition in to the climb a bit easier
I get that ninja riders could climb insanely steep things in Fusion (cos there was a dumb amount of backwheel grip in that game too) and they might not want that capability taken away. And I get that Trials games have never been about realism.
But man the Helium seems so stupid to me. Being able to just pedal up vertical, or even beyond vertical walls just seems pathetically over-tuned. Like some cheat code nonsense; MAGNET WHEELS ENGAGED. I really don't get how Redlynx has released a bike like that.
Oh it gets better :D.
It is possible to completely stop on walls indefinitely and even reverse and manage to still climb up the wall.
The conclusion I came to is that the Helium is the ninja's "fun bike".
It is fun to use occasionally, but it makes tracks too easy. Unfortunately if you enable the Helium on your track it kind of delegitimizes your track's leaderboards, depending on the type of track.
I still like the Helium's capabilities, but the community just needs to make tracks tailored for it. It might even be fun to have easter eggs hidden in a track that can only be accessed by the Helium.
Yeah Helium almost seems like the new Ninja bike. Ive been playing around with it vs. the Mantis, and its not bad.
