Yeah it would be nice to have some information about what options are actually for, always had that issue in Evolution and Fusion not knowing what things like “linear softness” or whatever mean and having to mess about with it trying to figure out what it does and how things change when you change the options, would be very useful just to have a little descriptor, at least just for the more advanced things.
Normally I think texture culling refers to where you don’t load any textures on faces that are not facing the player or that are hidden behind something else. Normally this is something that game engines do on their own anyway as it makes games run better so I’m not sure what it does in the editor specifically, I haven’t tried the Rising editor yet, but if it’s on by default maybe you can turn it off on an object that you know the player will see the back of to prevent the texture popping in when it comes into vision as it is already loaded.
