When I was younger, every Friday night during Winter my friends and I would would play Texas Hold'em together. Even though a lot of the time we'd be losing hands to each other, we loved it. The satisfaction of being dealt a winning hand just couldn't be matched by anything else at the time. However, with the rise of loot crates in videogames, I have finally found an activity that is equally as gratifying.
What a lot of people don't realise is that loot crates can also be very helpful for people like myself, a recovering gambling addict. There was a time in my life where I practically lived at my local Casino, gambling away everything. Ever since I became aware of the loot crate system that has taken the videogame industry by storm, I haven't set foot inside of a Casino. I no longer gamble because I'd much rather be at home spending all the money that I have on loot crates. I have companies like Ubisoft to thank for that.
