That wiki is their game bible? Yet they couldn't even get Mitchell's rank correct.
I was thinking it you said it. The guy who made Mitchell a Lt. Col is Dansky, the guy who says he has been working on Ghost Recon since the first game. He also wrote the book, Ghost Recon Wildlands: Dark Waters, which is a prequel to this, and had Mitchell as a Lt. Col there.
I was thinking the same thing LMAO
I suppose he gets demoted at some point between 2019 and 2021 (2021 is when H.A.W.X takes place as he is a ground Ghost operative on that game which means that maybe he is not the Ghosts boss at that point and is later promoted to Major which makes sense) or he just wanted some ground action which causes him to be demoted who knows.
Or it is just a discrepancy. It happens, look at Joe Ramirez death. He gets killed in a novel but appears alive and well on other entries of the franchise until gets killed again for good in GRFS. Maybe the writer of the Dark Water novel, needed to give Mitchell a higher rank than Nomad ( Nomad has a rank of Major) and the only way to do that was to make Mitchell a Lieutenant Colonel even if it didn’t make sense.
A lot of this type of mistakes are created between book and novel timeline problems as it is the same case for Splinter Cell. The first four novels did not connect very well with the games timeline.
We won't know the truth until the writers speak about it.
Vid is not available for American users. Any alternate links?
It may be working right now

I like how something the Ghosts are issued as a prototype is standard issue equipment by a third rate PMC in Fallen Ghosts. Is that plot hole going to be addressed or is the answer found in that Wiki if yours?
Also, please do keep in touch before Special Operation Four if you please :)
I got 500 Ghost Recon Credits saying its going to be a The Division tie-in.
I like good storylines in the shooters I play but I don't get into the nitty gritty like most of you guys here but, this thing with the active camo has got me scratching my head but perhaps I am just to lazy to put 2 and 2 together. In the one hand, it also stroke me as odd that an enemy PMC team had it in Fallen Ghosts let alone anyone from a ghost team because of the fact that I remember Ghost Lead in GRFS making a huge point to the pilot that they were experimenting with a prototype and that it wasn't working at full capacity (or something close to it) and now we have young Kozak (which he also looks totally different that what I remember him looking in FS even if 4 to 5 yrs younger) testing yet, another prototype?
Not that I am going to loose any sleep over this but I sure would love a simple explanation.
