All your videos are informative and helpful! Thank you man!
Tachanka bless you!
I didn't realise the enemy doesn't get threat indication if a suppressor is attached. You learn something new everyday.
I 've always thought that the flash hider reduces the recoil of first 3 shots...
Another interesting, and informative, video. :)
A lot of players who watch the video will be hoping to discover something about Siege which they either didn't know before or struggled to understand. :p
I think Rogue-9 is one of these types of players himself, and his videos are a journey of discovery for him too. He admits to not having known about some of the features of the attachments. :p
The reason I just made that condescending remark is that I have two points to make about the video. :p
The first one is that the method of testing (firing at a wall) shows a slight lack of understanding of both the effects of recoil patterns and how they are controlled, and the counter-effects of the attachments. :nonchalance:
The other is that there was what I would consider to be incorrect information about when specific attachments might be best used. I think this because of the method of testing I described in my first point.
I enjoyed watching the video, but part of me was also irked that this information is just being handed to players in a YouTube video, which led to me having an idea. :o
If each player had the same set of recoil patterns, one pattern for each gun. Then, the patterns were applied randomly to each gun so that no two players had the same pattern on the same gun.
A bit like shuffling a deck of cards. But instead, shuffling each player's set of recoil patterns between the player's guns.
This way players would have to decide which attachment they should use instead of looking up a list or YouTube video.
It might also go some way to stopping other forms of cheating that adjusted recoil as the recoil patterns would be the same but you would not know which player had which recoil pattern on which gun.
Holy cow. You got information directly from Ubisoft? That's great.
One thing that has me wonder about the choices we make for stuff like this is the difference between the info being presented (or more specifically our understanding of the info) and the actual function. Sure I "knew" that the silencer would remove all flash from my gun but I would still go with the flash hider because I didn't want to risk being wrong in the middle of a match. It's fantastic that we have up-to-date definitive word on the function of all of the attachments. Thank you very much.
I do have some feedback on how you do your videos. I really dislike your newer style where you show regular gameplay and a small bar of info. I get too sucked in to the match and miss what's being shown on screen. In this video it was fine because you didn't cycle through things as fast as in the previous video. Either way I'm very glad that you say everything out loud because it lets me listen to the video like a podcast.
