I partially agree but people would still play ac3 online on pc (non remaster) if the remaster wasn't out there as most people will buy the remaster but the online portion is left out of it. and the original ac3 has the online but just needs ppl to connect and play it. there are people who want to play it even nowadays. And I know there are more people on playstation who would want to grab the trophies for this game but the point is that this game's online portion is fun as it is no need for trophies. it just needs a remainder on steam or ubisoft connect app that it's available and give players some rewart for playing it again and ppl will play it even more. it's so much better looking on pc too!
And regarding the upkeep of one tiny server blade in each ubi datacenter would be zero upkeep as we are paying psn subscription or ubisoft+ subscription for them to keep them clean, fresh, and up. the time of free psn online gaming era is over for 10 years... and this game came out in 2012 and the remaster which we can't consider here as it doesn't have multiplayer, came out in 2019... are you telling me it's a fair thing for the players who are paying for the subscriptions to remove completely all forms of multiplayer in their datacenters? come on... one tiny server blade with components that can hold a max of 16 players would be enough. and with the tech of today, if there are 128 players who jump on ac3 mp and the starting server holds a max of 16, you can have the system allocate more server blades to work for this game dynamically and when there are 8 players playing, the rest of the server blades can work for another ubisoft online game...
I think I did alot of Wolfpack
its good but my theory is making my laggy
I am very curious about the answer to this, I am thinking of purchasing a game.
