Map Editor Budget Memory and Dynamic Objects
Hello Map Builders,
Since we launched the last Title Update, you have been reporting a sudden increase on the budget values for some objects. This has required some of you to rework certain maps that became over-budget.
This is the result of two necessary bug fixes pushed with TU10 for the Map Editor. With the regular addition of new items to the Map Editor, our team could anticipate an increased risk of crashes in Arcade.
After investigation, we decided to fix the following issues with TU10 in order to insure the best gaming experience to all Arcade players:
1) Budget Memory
All object files have been cleaned up and regenerated to insure better performances in Arcade. Consequently, some specific objects saw their budget increase significantly after the update.
To help you fix the maps and guide you for future creations, we’ve listed all the objects that had the most impactful changes in budget value. You can see the complete list in the next comment of this thread.
Plus, you can also turn on the Budget Grid display to re-balance your map more easily.
Reminder: If you place several times the same object on your map, the Object Count will increase, but not the Budget Memory!
2) Object with Physics
Breakable Objects weren’t categorized as Dynamic Objects, which could have deeply affected performances in PvP matches. With TU10, all Breakable Objects are now included in the Dynamic Object budget. This change has a particular impact on PvP maps since they have a budget per sector.
To republish your impacted maps, you can manually remove some of the Breakable Objects through the following steps:
1) Activate the budget grid display to spot the affected sectors.
2) Look for the Breakable Objects by sector. The full list is also displayed in the thirds comment of this thread.
This two essential fixes will improve the overall Arcade experience and minimize the risks of crashes and lags on particularly heavy maps. For this reason, we decided to maintain the fixes despite the impact on some of your maps already published.
We apologize for any inconvenience or frustration caused by these changes. We hope the constant additions and improvements we brought to Arcade and the Map Editor through post-launch, such as the Scripting Tool and the countless new assets, are inspiring you to create amazing maps for the whole community to enjoy!

TEXTURE OVER LIMIT is also "BUDGET OVER LIMIT" fixins tooty ")
not trying to circumvent your management ubidomz but i think the texture budget is involved here as well?
I did exactly as stated above to fix my map a few weeks ago and found that the TEXTURE budge was also over limit as a result of the updated plug ins, in turn giving us all a false-like positive for "BUDGET OVER LIMIT!" error so it is also too many and/or fancy textures that can trigger this error...
RED grids can be fixed alternately as stated above by retexturing gen polys to something less detailed and or less diverse in the totallity of all map textures...
here's how to do it (PS4):
1 IF you have say a lot of "brick" textured walls (generic polygons)select 1 of them..
2 Go to select all similar objects
3 Go to custom properties - don't worry about the text being greyed out, select custom properties..
4 CHANGE the detailed texture to something less fancy like flat chrome or grey cinder block
5 IT should decrease your budget in textures, NOW you can select the physical objects to delete and or move IF your grid is still red, If it was a texture over limit in the grid/map you may not have to do anything more...
Good luck to all - I have the utmost faith in yalls mappin skills and it does help to have this info so ..... yeah if im wrong let us know, but im pretty sure im right or I would not post this... video tutorial possible If yall have trouble reading this... keep in mind i'm not a tech wizard so there may be some more to this alternate fix im not understanding or remembering, im kinda not "the guy" but somehow end up finding other ways for fixing pandora's box. and i'm sure many of you already know/done this fixin's so i'm not looking for credit - just willing to help the underdogs ")

Karma/humble pie/teamwork/map doctor
YESSSSS! i have map death!!!! SOYLENT - no grids red and says under budge on all huds... yet the val says otherwise.. collision per physical obj- most likely a barrel in the puddle maker lake and OBJECT BUDGET OVERLIMIT!!
NOW i have the chance to become a map doctor- my first patient, mine own map soylent, a masterpiece of city scape and tech. TOTES not upset, totes happy to be able to have this expirience to BRING IT BACK FROM THE DEAAD!!!!
so all in all 1st have to apologize to the comm for assuming i was right, we are both right apparently, my 1st pub ubi tech had texture and physix reds AND was an easy fix cuz there were many clues to find, NOW on the flip side to that... soylent was never pubbed and i started soylent after tu1/2 so we have some inkling as to why this has happened...
off subject i awoke to trees down in the yard, rage set in (assumed from the fact I have to eat horse today with only black majik to my aid)... i grabbed the chop saw and a cup o coff... dragged the a down tree into the woods, started sawing a damaged shrub, the saw was dull luckily cuz as it jumped teeth in my act of final rage i nailed my middle finger on the knuckle!!!! I think I hit the tendon!!! ooooooo
blood drips fast no liquid skin all good cuz I clot fast!! so there guys - a karma like punishment for all the mouth running. yall where right and I was not listening to the cry.....
attempting to fix my map tonight.... wish me luck!! im going in deep and hot, like a sailor dive into magma for my gem baby!! I have to save my baby!! hopes I can overcome tu10..
I will post the fix as soon as I find it, may be drastic and or impossible.. this is the truth, there are 2 bugs in one here dependent on map pub per tu updates..

Resurrecting your maps!!!
TO ALL: DONT QUIT!! we can work together to fix your maps!! I just found out that Ps4 PLAY (win 10 app) IS GLOABAL!! So that being said- yes there will be lag if im in the arctic and your in the antarctic but we have the option to connect directly to your console (ps4) to fix your map -last case scenario- ..... AND you can watch / help!! Its not too complicated!!!
BTW - my soylent map was not dead, in my abundance of idiocy I forgot to TURN ON BUDGET GRID!!
I found a single red sector (twas too many gravestones in the church scene w/ PHYSIX) - PROBLEM SOLVED by deleting the said stones & replacing them w/ generic wall!!
also had to lower puddle maker lake soes not to trigg a clipper from all the barrels - since they dance now!!
pubbing my maps asap
SOLO/COOPS will take more work to resurrect so be ready to make the sacrifice ")
