And will it have HDR?
I would personally be extremely disappointed if it would not run in clear 60fps, 4K, HDR on Xbox One X. If open world Forza Horizon 4 can do it than 2.5D game with 2D tunel gameplay must do it too.
Forza will probably be 4k/30 and 1080/60. But fusion was sub 1080 with framrate dips on xbox one. But hoping for 40/60 on X1X
Microsoft is now showing Trials Rising will be Xbox One X Enhanced and 4K Ultra HD but NOT HDR sadly :(
Shame about the HDR, but probably a neccesary choice given not everyone has an HDR display and the switch! doesn’t support HDR - as far as I am aware. Would be difficult for creator’s tracks to all look right on a cross-platform track central let alone the in-game tracks. Would be a heck of a balancing act getting it right.
That being said, I would love to know the resolutions on all console platforms: Switch!, x1s, x1x, ps4 & ps4pro. Am also interested in how RL are preparing for the next gen consoles. I presume rising will be the game for the foreseeable future so will be interesting to see how it pans put for PS5 etc...
With the beta being on all platforms you can work out the resolution by pixel counting. Might want to take various samples in case of dynamic resolution scaling.
It would be nice for a developer to drop in and tell us the PS4 Pro resolution. I'm going to guess it's 1440p or 1620p.
prob a bit lower than xbox x and much higher than the switch.
I'm playing on PC to strictly not have FPS drops cause I have normal X1 and I'm not too confident with it to run rising good.
