Coop
I have always problem to teach someone or show someone something to repeat after me and I couldn't go back after checkpoint to show again my trainee how I went through obstacles. Can someone from developers answer this question:
Will there be coop mode?
Basically single track with 2 or more bikes(players) which you can actually see unless they are on same place(covering other bike) as you. Ideally with option to start from previous checkpoint(using different button obviously).

There will be a tandem bike, which gives both players 50% of power and balance.

This image on the Trials Rising game page (https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/game/trials-rising/ scroll down to Media, click More, final image) shows 3 riders on the same track.
Could potentially be what you're asking for.

That is great, hopefully they will add refresh from previous checkpoint too or floating camera option before finish of the track. In private multiplayer of course.

We won't have exactly the thing you have mentioned, our coop mode is the Tandem which would not meet your goals, however as you might know from the E3 presentation we worked very closely with FatShady on making great tutorials, which will help with what you want, so keep an eye on more news about that ;)

What is the real reason why you don't want to add to private multiplayer:
Floating camera before end of track.
OR
Refresh from previous checkpoint.
OR
Start from any checkpoint. (idea of somebody else from forum)
...while other bikes are seen in real time, not barely seen ghosts.
Your answer that FatShady done tutorials is not satisfying for three reasons:
1. No tutorials for ninja obstacles/tracks as it is not official difficulty.
2. No tutorials for obstacles not including in main game but included in community tracks.
3. No option of analysing obstacles with friend/s. (looking for best way to pass obstacle with current abilities of players in private game)
If real reason is that somebody will cheat than it is bad reason because:
It is private game and people communicating with each other and host can kick cheaters from the game.
AND
You could still put option to not allow that abilities which is normal in many AAA games including Halo(skulls).

The reason is prioritizing what we can do and should focus on. Trials Rising is focused on a tight and expansive competitive experience with a great onboarding curve (while connecting said competitive community together by empowering them with more tools than we ever have before).
So something like tutorials to bring people up from newbie players to somebody who can play extreme tracks well (which, btw, while FatShady was instrumental to the process, is not just him, a feature like that includes hard work of about a dozen different people of different specialties to implement everything we want correctly and in a qualitative manner, and quite a lot of time) is a VERY high priority for us, among many other high priority things, while something like checkpoint control in a private multiplayer game is, sadly, not.
The reality of game development is pretty much all about choosing what goes into development and for what reason. By the way, this doesn't mean that something like this won't get in after the game's launch, just that there are so many other things we need to make sure are done properly for the launch to make this the greatest Trials ever :)
PS. Regarding ghosts, as you've seen from trailers, we feature fully rendered ghosts on all types of tracks and modes, so it won't be like Fusion 1-lane multiplayer where only a fade outline is visible at all times.
