Aggressive LOD dithering
I've been watching a friend of mine play Far Cry 4 on his PC and got me really interested in the game, but the game employs this ridiculously ugly LOD dithering technique that scales up and down geometrical detail on the game's assets according to distance, and it's such a terrible solution that completely ruins immersion. Has Ubisoft ever patched this thing to allow gamers to increase draw distance in order to minimize this effect?

I myself made some objects behave to always have full LOD. While that worked, it had pretty bad performance. :P
