Missing Weapons in Arcade Editor - STILL
So, the game recently had a title update, and one of the thing things that was supposed to be addressed was a known issue of the lack of specific weapons in the arcade editor's loadout system. It would appear that this oversight was missed again, either through incompetence or a move towards some sort of underlying plan.
I went into the editor today to check if weapons had been added, and yes, but only 2 of them. For some strange reason, at least 2 more rifles, one of which was in the title of the previous thread addressing this, are still absent, and that thread was also commented on by a staff member.
The AR-CL and the full-size M14 are still absent, which is severely disappointing. Why would only part of such a simple issue be addressed? This does not seem like it would be hard to fix or check either, as it is literally comparing the loadout weapons list to the single player armoury.
This seems rather concerning, seeing as a top-selling title entry to a popular IP of a major company has a team working on it who either overlooks and messes up simple patches, or is working towards some sort of strange goal involving withholding or drip-feeding specific content for an unknown reason. I'm curious as to why they put the effort in to address a known issue but only "half-fixed" it. Plus, many smaller companies manage to come out with hot-fixes or at least more frequent updates and effectively remedy more issues, having a smaller staff and fewer resources, than does Ubisoft.
Ubisoft, can we get some sort of meaningful comment on this, please?
