Believe it or not, the ideal ratio apparently is 1:10 CHC:CHD. Adding more of either won't hurt you, obviously, but you'll see diminishing returns if you swing too far one way or the other.
So...in practical terms, in your situation, you'd see more benefit if you lost some crit chance and added some crit damage.

Hmm, interesting. I just made some modifications. 32% crit chance and 108% crit damage now.
My CHC and CHD on my two weapons are
46% and 104%
48.5% and 117%
My predator build has 131% crit damage at 50% Crit chance. House SMG
Crit bleeds go as high as 500k per crit bleeds in heavies
I'm actually running a 6 piece Nomad build. I know it's not exactly a DPS build, but I'm trying to get as much out of it as I can.
I also have two LMG's on my lone star build
One at 30% CHC and 101% CHD and one at 28% CHC and 116% CHD
My striker has 49% CHC with 135% CHD I think higher CHD is good both in PVE and PVP especially in legendary and Heroic difficulties.
