We are pleased to announce our 1st theme contest for Far Cry 5. These have been a tradition since FC2, and we hope to continue it many times for FC5. This contest is purely for fun and to keep the community engaged, so no attitudes or egos allowed. We will have an esteemed panel of judges determine the best of the best, so good luck to everyone.
Theme: Movie Magic
Description: Create a new map depicting a popular movie setting.
Platform(s): All
Game modes: TDM, SP
Deadline: May 15, 2018
How to enter:
Enter your map in our database by midnight (EDT) on May 15. You MUST include the tag MC1 when you submit the map so we can add it to the official list of entries. Please check back within 24hrs after you submit to confirm you map has been added.
Maps will be judged on three factors:
Theme: How well does your creation match the original movie setting you chose?
Skill: How well the map is made (object placement, terrain, details, etc)?
Gameplay: How fun is the map to play? Does it flow well and keep players engaged?
There will be a winning map from each platform for TDM and SP modes.

"Berkshire to Valley Forge! Berkshire to Valley Forge! Lowell, are you there?"
This alternate ending to the 1972 science fiction movie of the same name has Botanist/Astronaut Freeman Lowell deciding to fight back against the boarding party on it's way to the Valley Forge. He will do what it takes to keep hold of his ship and its final dome -- which contains Humanity's last remaining forest and wildlife -- or die trying!
Map notes: I tried hard to faithfully recreate the iconic images and sets of this cult classic, including the lovable robots Huey and Dewey. It'll be hard to stealth this one all the way through; I couldn't, but I meant it to be that way. It's tight fighting on a space ship with a few open spaces. I allowed for a co-op partner, but there's nothing like being a botanist alone on a ship full of heavily armed enemies. Hope you enjoy!

hey yall, hey max, ive been absent to the church of FCV for a while now....
whenst I got back on... all these sikk updates blew my m!nd…
I still have more trimming and adds in zombie items (spec ty to steve 64b and crews item list..) and...
im seeing there is anti theft programming added up now so.... shyt its all good and I like the news but it complicates things... cuz I realize I "saved as" with both ubi tech and soylent to change the map names but I may go into workshop mode?? they both my original psn so I hopes not..... more on that sub L8rs...
any hoots I made soylent green but its only @ <50% TRUE to the movie cuz when I saw the mars pack I knew that was the final straw and I had to /must do more scfi fi cowbell so....
I did a reboot vers NYC 2022 soylent map with lots o tech
contestants should figure 8 a grading scale for reboots not 100% true to the movie like how does that/ would that play out in a contest?? if not all scenes are exact.. and will u ever have a hybrid movie contest??
also found new mappin glitch/mod please do not tell ubi so they kill it, beside it is a harmless bug so nuture its ability to help your map AND messege me and ill will tell u how to do it...

note to self... ed the bot arms and chest/shoulders, they r $$$ ,use the new generic tubes and spheres, also ditch the red scooper truck, put ano orange big 1 on east street, and clean up the san trux change txtr to wyt deet, add more soy cubes, garbage piles, wooden squatter shax ETC. to areas null and void o deets not shown here, don't forget the force fields you made, they need noen runners and inv wall w damage boxing, this map is a huge monster but don't worry about the h8rs they will conform, they will eat soy and lead ")
