Yeah. I think there is a bug. I got the same thing. If I find a remedy I’ll let you know.
I had same issue just closed game and restarted it fixed itself
You can try shooting him in the head, and leaving him there....in my game he eventually game me all the specs on the mission laying facedown....only sad thing was he didn't stay dead and did meet me at the mission location....
PS..yeah, I played Far Cry 4, and anyone who did probably understands my feelings about him...
Why do people list things like this?? YEARS after the game?? All patching stopped in April 2019 about one year after release, and thus TWO years ago..... No they haven't looked at this game since, NO they aren't going to look at it again, and NO nothing will EVER change on it from now until probably forever.... You post like UbiSoft has been working on this game ever since release and are surprised that this bug has been missed, when that is so far from the truth it is ridiculous. This game was actually patched longer than some...I am looking at EA on this one, and generally speaking it is fairly stable and bug free, a major plus, but acting like extended time will get more things fixed is insane. ANY bug that was in the game at the end of patching will forever be in the game.......Sadly they don't die of old age like real bugs.....
Basically, If you like the game good, but don't expect perfection, don't expect it to change and posting "OH, MY GOD, THIS BUG HAS BEEN AROUND FOR YEARS!!!!" is silly and totally missing the way games are developed and patched. Ubi is on to the NEXT FarCry game and hasn't looked back with zero intent to look back because that isn't where the money is.
So you're basically saying that they aren't making good games and are only interested in collecting money from players. Pumping out new games every year so people pay again for products that aren't finished or working properly in some cases. If they wouldn't sell those abandoned games anymore I could accept this but they aren't so they should actually fix major issues that still reside in these products. So in the end yes, they simply keep on selling broken games to collect more money.
Depends on your definition of GOOD games, I guess. There hasn't been to my knowledge a perfect game without any bugs on any platform. This game isn't broken, as in most cases it breaks a minor side quest, in this case, most times a reload or on the next play through it works fine. For me, shooting him in the head and walking away, got it to reset to work. I personally understand that all games will have some bugs, and as long as they aren't totally game breaking, then I deal with them and value the game on gameplay and story.
If you wish to discuss the broken story, and how it really isn't good, then I would be happy to have a long discussion with you on it, or you can probably look back over previous threads here around launch and see my thoughts on it. Game play wise, this game is pretty good with only minor bugs and glitches. And yeah, all game companies will keep pumping out games and they will continue to have bugs, otherwise they would never release one to begin with that was more complex than pong.
