Yup me too. I don't know if it is the Windows may 2020 update (Build 2004) or what but since I installed Hyper Scape (which I can't play) I cant launch Div 2 now which I have played for months with no problem. Done every work around imaginable. Nothing works.
Thanks for getting in contact with us SirLokilus and welcome to the forums,
As I can see you have tried some troubleshooting already, I would advise you to open a ticket at our support site by scrolling down to the bottom of this page provided and clicking on the link -

We can then investigate this issue for you further with more detail, you may be asked to upload your DXDIAG and MSINFO so we can see what is running under the hood of your PC too, in case of any conflicts.
I have the same issue. Re-installed ubi connect app, clear registers, re-install game, etc. But nothing works.Has anyone found a solution to this?
Hello PaulMircea, thanks for posting and welcome to the forum.
Just to be clear which South Park game are you having trouble launching?
I would like you to first verify the games files depending on what launcher you bought the game from, this should help fix any files in the installation folder -
Here are some instructions on how to do this in Ubisoft Connect -
https://support.ubisoft.com/en-gb/Article/000060529
Here are some instructions on how to do this in Steam -

Here are some instructions on how to do this in the Epic Games launcher -

Next, can you please make sure the games .exe file is set to run as administrator?
- Locate the games .exe file in its installation folder
- Right click on the games .exe file and select 'Properties'
- Select the 'Compatibility' tab
- Check the 'Run as Administrator box'
- Click 'Apply' then 'OK'
- Finally, try launching the game by double clicking on the games .exe file
Please let me know how you get on after trying these steps?
been having this issue for years
can't even play the game I paid for
decided I wanted to try and play it again after years since I played it last, who knows how many - still doesn't work
i'd bet i've attempted to play my Ubisoft title more times and failed to start it than I have been able to
Thanks for your post about this, grizzam77 - sorry to hear you've had trouble launching the game. There are currently no known widespread issues with launching the game, so I'm confident we can find a solution for you.
Please make sure to start with our troubleshooting guide. In particular from that guide, please make sure you've updated your graphics drivers and operating system, you've verified the game files, and you don't have any unnecessary background programs interfering with the game.
If those steps don't solve the issue, we'll be able to troubleshoot further with the help of some system files - a DxDiag.txt and an MsInfo.txt. The article I've linked there will show you how to find each of them.
Once you have those files, you can reach out to us via our support website, or via Facebook PM or Twitter DM, to send them across, and we'll be able to use them to investigate the issue.
Let me know if I can clarify any of these steps.
While I've only been dealing with this issue for roughly six months, others have been dealing with it for over two years. I was able to find a solution in another thread on the forum and going to share in hopes it helps so players can at least enjoy some of what the game has to offer. Unfortunately, the workaround is a bit of a slap in the face.
After reading a solution posted by user 'autbrat', which suggested the problem being the items in the toybox in your room at the start of the game containing an artifact and upon taking said items prior to the storyline introducing artifacts was causing her game to glitch. However, after slotting my first artifact, I went to my room and acquired all the items from the toybox and a short time later, when I was ready to slot another artifact, the game bugged out anyway.
I am happy to report that the workaround is simply this: do NOT take the items from the toybox in your room - ever - and the game will work just fine.
Now, Ubisoft -- armed with that information, perhaps you can figure out WHY the artifact/s in the toybox are causing the bug/glitch and repair/remove it from the game.
On behalf of 'autbrat' and myself -- you're ******g welcome. Now, where's my rent check?
Hey there
First of all we do apologise for the length of time you've been dealing with this issue and whilst it is obviously good news there is a confirmed workaround that has worked for you and some other players I also completely understand that this workaround limiting your access to certain items from the start of the game to prevent this happening isn't an ideal solution.
I will pass this on to the relevant teams for review and thanks for bringing this to our attention.
