Returning Player: Thoughts on reworks/tweaks?
Hey all,
I've been with FH since the beta, played through early season 4 and took a break due to the cancerous shaman. Played some Monster Hunter World before circling back around the other day. I see there have been quite a few changes, to the point where I'm actually quite surprised at Ubi's progress. I was looking for a summary of changes for each character, not based on statistics posted in patch notes, but based on community evaluation. Please try to keep ranting limited. Just give me a feel. Here's what I gathered from a few hours of Duels, correct me if I'm wrong or fill in my blanks here.
-Kensei: Wow, this guy is a complete package now. Needs to lose the armor on his dodge attack, which is very spammable. Top-tier or close.
-Nobushi: Made her kick faster, gave her some back dodge gimmicks, but overall the same and relatively balanced.
-Zerker: Fast feints and UB top finisher gives him some added utility without breaking his feel. His feint-into-light may be a little too fast and could be abusable.
-Shaman: Felt toned down, but that pounce & feed is still too damaging. Still a top-tier character that I'm sure makes 4v4 modes miserable.
-Conqueror: Well they changed up a bit here didn't they. Feels fluid and fun to play as, but I'm still trying to figure out the weaknesses from an opponent's standpoint. Top tier.
-Warlord/Orochi/Shinobi/Valkyrie/Highlander/PK/Gladiator: Didn't appear to have had many changes. Same old same old. No complaints from me.
-Raider/Cent/Aramusha/Shugo/Warden/LB: Didn't see any in 3+ hours of play.
For clarification purposes: I main Nobu, and do a good amount of Zerking and Orochi-play.
