jowunger, on PC it's the F key or left click on the NPC's avatar.
Their is a lil problem based on keeping guns and amor. I was just wondering what the last two space for keeping stuffs is actually meant for and the time it would be unlocked.
I stopped in at this roadside bar one day in Faiths area I believe, and LO and BEHOLD, there were all the GFHires laughing and joking around. Sharkey was doing non-stop situps on the floor. I figured this must be an Easter Egg which I thought was pretty cool. I was solo at the time so I knew it was nothing I had conjured up myself.

How do you get your helpers to stop using fire arrows?
Hey!
You're talking about the non-specialist fighters, right?
Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I am aware, the fighters are stuck with the weapons they have when you recruit them. If that is the case, I would advise you to replace your fire arrow archer with a fighter who uses another weapon.

Overall I'm happy with the Guns for Hire. The revive me when down (a feature from Far Cry 2) and while fishing keep the critters at bay, unless a BEAR, then I have to stop and help. They have interesting stories even the random ones. In my first game I used mainly a random fighter, a bowgal, Sharon Wolfe, who got over 1000 kills. Of all of them I prefer the bow-persons because the most interesting things occur, things blow up other things are on fire and they even can take out a helicopter! Any Gun for Hire is a somewhat competent driver, map out a distant point, crew the machine gun truck gun and go rat patrol style down the highway.
Even the civilian NPC drivers are worthwhile to explore in this regard. If one of their cars slows down, jump in and gangster style shoot at the hippies along the roadside. The NPC drivers seem even better than the guns for hire, they drive swiftly and seem to knock over less fence posts . Occasionally they get stuck but rarely. They race past the hostiles, even dodging around road blocks. And they took me on a tour across Hope County to places I never was before.
