Some ideas for the loot system....
World tier 5 = Gear sets, exotics, classifieds. No yellow gear. Any top level mods become a new colour (black? Or gearset/classy colour?)) and only those drop. Any weapons over gear score 275(?) become same new colour and only those drop. Less loot is dropped by standard/veteran/elite enemies. Named bosses still drop similar amount, but it now has more chance of being useful.
Chance of a classy higher from named boss than anything else. Chance is increased from current rate of drop but no more frequent than current exotic rate (maybe not even that frequent?).
Reduces the overall amount of loot dropped, but raises the chances of it being good when it does.
Increase the crafting material/div tech received accordingly.
Hate to say this one, but maybe increase length of time for lz bosses to respawn to 6-8 hours?
Increase cost of optimisation for final 2 bars? Purely to make finding better gear more relevant than finding div tech and to help mitigate the current “only destruction and dz” ways of getting div tech.
Pheonix credits required for rerolling second classy stat?

World tier 3 no exotics, only yellow weapons and mods.
World tier 2 no gear sets.
World tier 1 Only yellow items.
Weekly caches remain unchanged but the exotic stands a 33% chance of being replaced with a classy?
Named bosses only have 25% chance of appearing in the UG per phase. So a 3 phase mission has a 75% chance of one named boss. Should work out roughly equivalent to the respawn rate of lz bosses.
