Merry Christmas to the Frontier Community!
I do not often post here, but I do drop by regularly to see if there is anything new to know about this Frontier game I am addicted to! We all know the game is not perfect, but it has been extremely enjoyable over the years. Its been very depressing to see the constant negativity in the Frontier forums in recent months, so I felt it was time to spread words of encouragement and good cheer to the deserving souls I read posts from here.
My FRONTIER NICE LIST
I dont mean any disrespect towards any of the other productive people in the community, but the ones below stand out to me:
CaptainWeelie. I know its tough to serve as Community Manager when you receive constant undeserved insults to your character, but I wanted to say that you handle it with professionalism, and that there are those of us who do appreciate all the help you give. You deserve respect for all you do.
Bonxy and dutscher-DE. Thank you for all the wonderful support you provide outside the game itself. Your web pages are incredibly useful to us all!
negodyaeff and xitooner. Your posts into the workings of the game are a valuable asset to the community. Many of us out there greatly appreciate your insight and the way that you state the facts both good and bad.
justinman114, hanks420, Rocknrolll21, Sardius77-TFG. As normal players, I identify with you the most! There are others as well, but I most like reading your posts, appreciate your helpful answers, humor, and how you sometimes stand up against the "Bromance of Hate" we can get on these forums.
My FRONTIER NAUGHTY LIST
Many of us try to hold ourselves to a higher standard of conduct than these petty people, but we all know they are here and free to post. They are easy to spot by their actions:
- their refusal to ever see anything good about the game or the community help they receive
- their immature namecalling of people who disagree with them or help them (ex "CaptainStealie")
- their racist comments they casually drop in because "its just the way I am"
I have faith they will receive a little coal in their stocking come Christmas morning! Join me in hoping these people will gain in maturity and perspective to see beyond the negative in the new year to come. Be tolerant of them because they have so far to go.
Merry Christmas to all!
