No Full Screen
Hi.
Full screen won't work.
Used to be that this happened all the time, and I just ALT+ENTER to get everything OK, but now it just switches back to windowed.
Setup:
- BenQ BL3200PT 1440p monitor, 60hz
- Onkyo TX-NR646 for surround sound
- i5 4690K
- 16gb ram
- win 10
- dx12
- nvidia driver 388.31
Attempted fixes, whenever I say it's windowed, assume I've tried to start or continue my game *then* ALT+ENTER to get fullscreen, too:
- Changed to Fullscreen (which it already was) in game. Switches to Windowed straight away, despite saying it's fullscreen.
- Added "-fullscreen" to startup options. Flips back to windowed.
- Forced fullscreen rendering on GPU in NVIDIA Ctrl Pnl. Either doesn't start or starts windowed.
- Forced fullscreen rendering on Monitor in NVIDIA Ctrl Pnl. Either doesn't start or starts windowed.
- Checked RenderProfile in the GamerProfile.xml and it has "Fullscreen="1" " ... Starts windowed.
- Launched with no overlays, steam off, GEFORCE Experience off, and UPlay not running. Windowed.
The Onkyo is required for sound, and thus presents as a second monitor, however this hasn't been an issue for 2 years (or however long it's been).
Will raise a ticket with you, but I'm not exactly sure how, also I wanted other people to be able to see this in case they're getting the same issue.
Will try a driver update on GEFORCE Experience.

OK. Fixed in NVIDIA driver 388.59 (12th December 2017).
388.31 was released on the 15th November 2017, so it's highly likely I've not fired up FC4 since that update.
This can be closed now, thanks for listening/reading/laughing. ;)
