What is the reasoning behind changing the value of your armour in the higher tiers? i have 70% in world tier 1 but only 46% in world tier 4.
The armor scales with World Tier so that it progresses along with your gear. In World Tier 4 you have to make the choice between armor and other stats as the requirement needed to reach 70% is much higher.
We've heard feedback regarding the importance of armor versus other stats and with the Update available, we will continue to monitor this discussion and feedback.

@gabelikes, there are some numbers which armor value is needed for 70% cap in respective tier?
I am so eager to check it out tonight. My old stats had 650k toughness with 75% mitigation. I was, by all accounts a tank. I think I will run the DZ or a few missions on challenging to see how things have changed before I get to worked up about the armor numbers. as I know they will drop.
At least the half of the changes are crap and nobody ever asked for these changes.
Solo play, not too bad. Groups, dying very very quickly.
Armour needs to go. The damage of NPCs should be balanced against a flat figure, not something as varying as the current armour stat. No clue what they balanced it with, but right now, in group content, it seems that high armour is mandatory and leaves very little room for anything else.
