Weapon dps problem
I ranked up in the underground and when I opened my catch it said I got a G36 enhanced with a dps of 112.194 after press X to accept it when going to the inventory it says 93.457 I only have 2 g36 gs 229 1 a military and the enhanced and the other is 95k base state. Also after modding it it said I was kicking out 225k dps and when I went bk in to my inventory it said my dps was now 200k. I have not changed any gear or mods .

there is little issue with G36 and default talent. sometimes it is counted in and sometimes not. I do not know when it is applied and when not do not find key for this.

Little anoyying thought it was a glitch in game so left it a day but no still showing same tried with no mods on all talents unlocked but still base damage ant the 112k it said it was supposed to be

with base damage there is no difference, it is same until you do not change FA or mods which affects FA .

Weapon dps
The problem with weapon DPS dropping when viewed from inventory probably happens because of the game factoring in active talents to the weapons. When viewed from the inventory screen, the active talent are not displayed/calculated in the DPS value but as a side number.

The situation is even worse than one can imagine. I have rolled over two dozen Military G36's from a GS204 blueprint. The crafting bench says the range of DMG varies from 10K to 11K. But this low/high range varies depending on how you are equipped. I have even seen the range quoted between 9500 and 10500. It makes no sense whatsoever. Apparently the coders at Massive are not very good at math, and players also see different numbers for DMG when they browse their inventory. DPS is also wildly different as noted by the previous posts. I have one with Brutal, Destructive and Focused, and the DPS is around 210K. Thus, the gear and attachments that surround the weapon play a critical role in the number being so high. YMMV. Lol.

As dps doesnt mean didly squat, who cares if it says 200,000 or it says FISH.
