Far Cry Primal 2 Suggestions
I really like Far Cry Primal esp. for getting away from all the modern stuff and going back in a fantasy prehistoric area. I really hope that they make a second one. I think a lot of things could have been built upon further. Upgrading your settlement could of went bigger and better with more skins, bones, stones and etc. There could of been a lot more people being brought in and see them upgrading themselves. There could be a lot more missions and objectives. I did like the freedom of how I could stalk and prey upon my enemies though I think that could be worked on a little better. Might give the option to climb and hide up in a tree or camouflage yourself with mud, leaves, grass or anything like that. Even could have war paint. I also think more traps could of been made for those of the small, medium and large beast. The herbalism and alchemy could also go a bit further as well as the perks, weapons, clothes and tools. Would also like a more vast open world even though this one was of a good size. Larger would be nice and more threats from other tribes. There are many other creatures that weren't present in this one so it would be nice to have a greater variety of creatures with environments. Also more to do with supplies even after you upgrade everything there should still be things it could be used for. I think also once you tame any animal the more you use that animal then the more they should naturally progress. Bone weapons, stone weapons, wood weapons, bone and stone weapons, bone and wood weapons, stone and wood weapons, stone and wood and bone weapons and there can be more variations making them better. Given opportunity to put poison on your weapon or add fire. Relationship perk that grows with the relationship that you have with an animal. Where they will fight harder giving an attack increase if your life is threatened or something. Also the relationships between you and the people don't feel mutual. Kind of kills the immersion as they only teach you stuff or allow you to upgrade after doing something for them and then there's really nothing else to do with them. They set you on a mission and there is no interaction with them. They don't even stand by your side in the final battles or any skirmish. I know it is about you and your beast but it is also suppose to be about rebuilding your tribe and they should just be able to be immersed a bit better. Guarding them on trails and freeing them was cool. The cave paintings and trinkets are alright. I enjoyed having my animals and skills to over take the encampments so hope to see more of those in the next one. Just a few things that were on my mind for the next possible installment.
Thanks for your feedback!
Good to hear you liked Far Cry Primal!
And of course, we're always happy to read additional comments + how you would improve existing game mechanics.
NPCs feel simple or stupid
I think that the people in Far Cry Primal feel simple minded or stupid, like many might think people were ages ago. They speak with simple words like "I likes big rock", why wouldn't the speak fluently with nuances just like us now. But I think and there are some serious hypothesis that humans were more resourceful and clever and human are now. They had to be to survive.
I wish the people in Far Cry Primal 2 would not feel stupid cavemen. The cavemen and women weren't like that.
